For The Love of The Land

In the USA, more farmers commit suicide than any other profession. Rural isolation, a blurring of lines between work and home life, alongside financial insecurity, create heavy burdens.
Today, climate change compounds these stresses as so many witness and mourn drastic changes to the land they are innately connected with. Discussing issues of mental health have historically been taboo in farming communities where pioneering, rugged individualism and self-reliance prevail. This film pierces that taboo with personal stories of struggle, resilience, and hope.
